Yangon Heritage Uncovered - 3 Days / 2 Nights
Receive a VIP welcome at the airport and go through immigration procedures with the help of the tour guide. Transfer to the hotel for check-in and some personal time to freshen up or relax.
Proceed to lunch at the Strand Café, an establishment from colonial times with a distinguished history.
A private elephant coach awaits for a ride through the colonial city centre and its many cultural delights. Travel past faded colonial buildings, busy street markets, and glittering temples. Stop by a local tea shop to witness the local life and customs in Yangon.
After tea, explore the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar’s most iconic and revered Buddhist temple. Gilded with gold leaf, the 8-sided central stupa is almost 100-meters-tall and surrounded by 64 lesser stupa. The guide will explain the intricacies of the pagoda complex and explain why the temple is so revered among locals.
Enjoy a cocktail on board the private Elephant Coach and switch to a trishaw which is a unique local ride. Cruise past famous sites such as St. Mary’s Church, The Secretariat, and other colonial buildings. Turn along Pansodan Street to the entrance of Pansuriya Restaurant. The place part restaurant, part art gallery and part antique store. Here, guests are encouraged to browse the wares while the evening’s first course is prepared. Choose from homemade fish crackers, a variety of soups, and traditional Burmese salads.
Continue the next course at the multi-award-winning Monsoon Restaurant. This is one of the most well-known restaurants in Yangon serving delicious Southeast Asian cuisine. Enjoy a main course of Burmese curry, a choice of meat served in a mild curry sauce, accompanied by steamed rice and a mix of local condiments.
For the final course, head over to Rangoon Tea Shop which has a modern take on the classic corner tea shop. Choose between locally-influenced items such as the chai cheesecake or a much more traditional dessert like falooda which is a sweet and cold drink consisting of ice-cream, milk, syrup, and tapioca pearls.

Wake up for a special breakfast cooked and delivered to the suite.
Once breakfast is finished, get ready to leave the hotel at 08:30 to explore more of Yangon’s local attractions. Go to the Railway Station to catch a ride on the Yangon Circle Line Train. The slow-travelling train loops through the outskirts of the city providing an opportunity to observe the life of rural Myanmar. After 45 minutes, disembark at Insein Market where vendors gather daily to sell a wide range of items including food and dry goods. Enjoy exploring the market and meeting friendly locals before returning by road to Yangon.
Eat lunch with a scenic view at Le Planteur which is one of Yangon’s most lavish restaurants.
Next item on the list is an exploration of the colourful countryside surrounding the busy city of Yangon. Travel by ferry across the Yangon River to get to the Dala Township. Once in Dala, ride a trishaw to see the natural beauty and local customs of this rural town. Although close to Yangon, the pace of life here is dramatically different. Stop by at the local monastery to learn about the cultural and spiritual beliefs of the Burmese. Before returning to Yangon, don’t forget to visit Chu Chu, a unique local workshop which uses recycled plastics to make amazing products.
Grab dinner at the premier restaurant SEEDS located beside Inya Lake. Cocktails are served before the exclusive meal at the the chef’s table or at a private table in the kitchen (dependent on group size).
