DAY 2 - Tokyo MealsMEALS [B]

Exo TravelTime: Start (guided tour): 09:00 or 09:30 Duration: 8 h

Today enjoy a tour of Tokyo with an experienced local guide and private transportation.

Today’s itinerary includes a visit to one of the world’s largest and busiest fish markets, the Tsukiji Fish Market. Apart from seeing a wide array of fish and seafood, enjoy the opportunity of exploring the outside markets, where dry goods such as local seasonings and ingredients can be found.

Before leaving Tsukiji, head to one of the local restaurants for a chance to sample some fresh sushi or sashimi. Even though the restaurants are not Jiro-branded, the dishes are definitely delicious and will not disappoint.

Before the tour ends, head to the cutlery capital of Tokyo, Kappabashi. Stop by the top-selling shop of Kamata, where it’s possible to purchase a personally engraved knife.

Here in Tokyo, we have a few particularly exclusive cultural experiences. We can arrange a sushi-making class with a renowned sushi chef, a private sake brewery visit or even a chance to have lunch with a sumo wrestler.

For those wishing to get closer to the “local” part of Tokyo, we also have a 3-hour street food tour in one of the famous izakaya streets in the metropolis. In this tour, sample some of the local dishes that are not usually found in five-star restaurants.
