Today your tour will start at either 08:00 or 13:00.

After breakfast, transfer to the Nanthida Jetty. Take a short walk through the jetty’s market, a hive of activity where vendors sell snacks and other items to passing pedestrians. Then arrive at the Yangon River’s edge and board a ferry boat for a 15-minute journey to Dhala. As the ship makes its way across the water, watch the city skyline fade away and enjoy the views of passing ships.

Disembark in Dhala and, after pushing through the crowds near the jetty, climb aboard a local trishaw. Experience the difference from Yangon to Dhala as the pedal-powered trishaw glides across quieter streets lined with leafy palm trees.

Pass through villages, stopping to take photos or to chat with the friendly locals. Visit the town’s main market to browse colourful stalls of fresh produce and venture into a monastery for a chance to learn about the lives of Myanmar’s monks.

Then it’s time to return to Yangon by ferry, saying farewell to the quiet countryside and re-entering the bustle of Myanmar’s largest city. Upon reaching dry land, transfer back to the hotel by car.
