Relax and enjoy Kandawgyi Park\u2019s green environment. Cruise the Yangon River during sunset past the cityscape and adjoining villages. Kids can feed the seagulls while parents can relax and enjoy the scenery with a beer or local rum sour. No doubt, a great start to the holiday.<\/p>\n<p>No trip to Yangon is complete without a visit to Shwedagon Pagoda. And of course, shopping! Nearby is the monk\u2019s market where everything from orange robes to alms bowls is on display. Next, make a stop at Mahawizaya Temple, continue on to Bogyoke Market were you will pose for a family photograph dressed in traditional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exotravel.com\/blog\/longyi-myanmar\/\" target=\"_blank\">longyis<\/a> (traditional Burmese cloth) with your faces painted in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exotravel.com\/blog\/thanaka-myanmar\/\" target=\"_blank\">Thanaka<\/a> (traditional Burmese cosmetic). From here, transfer to Inle Lake. The motorboat ride to your accommodation should be fun.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s one cool place at Inle Lake that your kids will surely find fascinating. Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery is more than just a temple. It is an arena for jumping cats. That\u2019s right, monks train these felines to jump through hoops as a way to pass the time and to give these cats some activity. There\u2019s also some nice Buddhist relics on display here. Continue onwards around Inle Lake, with stops to other temples, a weaving village, a cheroot factory and a hilltribe settlement.
