This has resulted in few visitors to the country. Maybe this is a good thing, because your trip here guarantees that you will have exotic Burmese tales to tell your friends and family. The country is also pure, in that the outside world has had little influence on Burma despite today\u2019s modernization.\u00a0 So, what are you waiting for? A beautiful and unspoiled country with warm and hospitable people await your arrival.<\/p>\n<p>A good place to start is Yangon. Why? Well, it is the country\u2019s biggest city. It\u2019ll settle you into the rhythm and ambiance of Myanmar. Plus, there\u2019s also some interesting and must see sites here. Yes, one of them is Shwedagon Pagoda, Burma\u2019s most iconic and recognizable landmarks. While at the former capital, you\u2019ll also check out the National Museum, with its extensive array of priceless artifacts, ornaments, artworks and historic memorabilia in 14 halls on four floors. There\u2019s also time to visit Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda which houses a 70-meter reclining Buddha statue.<\/p>\n<p>Now it is time to see a sight you have not, may not and will not find anywhere else. This is Bagan. The world record holder for the most temples and pagodas. There are some options for you. Either tour the temples by foot or by horse cart. Or both. Either way, let the scenery amaze you. Cuz it will do that to you.<\/p>\n<p>After your temple experience, shift the scenery a little bit with a flight to Heho, the gateway to Inle Lake. This place sure is interesting. See the laid back fishermen row their boats with their legs (yes, legs), pagodas reflecting against the water lakeside and the countryside atmosphere that dominates the area. To add to Inle Lake\u2019s intrigue, see trained cats jump through hoops at Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery. Then visit the more conventional Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the lake\u2019s holiest sanctuary.<\/p>\n<p>Now, let\u2019s head back to the biggest city and warp up your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exotravel.com\/travel\/myanmar\/tours\/burmese-days-myanmar-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\">Burmese Days<\/a> holiday.
