Before heading off on this memorable adventure, we recommend a bringing few things along to make it even more enjoyable. Wear comfortable clothes, a jumper or long sleeve shirt, athletic shoes or hiking boots, sunglasses and a hat and bring your camera and some sunscreen.<\/p>\n

Wake up, have breakfast and be prepared for an exciting and certainly bumpy trip on your Land Rover Defender. This vehicle defines off-road and is preferred by many, including the military, the agricultural and industrial industries, off-road sport enthusiasts and the private sector.\u00a0 Hop in and experience it!<\/p>\n

Your driver will take this beast of a vehicle towards the center of the island, leaving the paved roads and highways behind. Say hello to tiny country roads, tracks and dirt paths and puddles. As you navigate over the seemingly impossible route, Bali\u2019s villages and scenic rice paddies start to come into view. The car will also take you to the fields of Mount Batukaru. Muddy roads and tropical forests are guaranteed, so be prepared for a bumpy ride!<\/p>\n

There will definitely be time for you to step out of the vehicle to stretch those legs, come to terms with stillness and experience some of the wonders of the island. The visits include a traditional farmhouse, a hot mineral spring, tropical gardens filled with fragrant spices and ancient quarry where stones are still cut by traditional methods to build shrines and temples.<\/p>\n

A bamboo restaurant in the middle of the forest is your stop for lunch. Enjoy a traditional Balinese meal and cap it off with locally grown coffee and cognac. Don\u2019t worry, the man behind the wheel will not be having this drink, because he will be driving you back. So, enjoy and let your designated driver safely take you back to your hotel.<\/p>\n
