Then try your hand at meditation and indulge yourself in a traditional Lao massage that will soothe mind, body and soul.<\/p>\n<p>Next, experience one of Laos\u2019 oldest traditions, the Baci which has been practiced even before the introduction of Buddhism in the country. The purpose of the Baci is to call the spirits to bless people during important events and your visit.<\/p>\n<p>Spend the last day making merit. Start off early (early meaning before sunrise) and give alms to the monks, who will in turn offer you a blessing. These gays cannot buy or store food, so you\u2019ve done a really good deed. Then, travel to another forest temple and give back to nature as you learn their recycling techniques.
