Vietnam’s narrow waist arguably packs in the biggest concentration of must-see attractions in the country. It is Central Vietnam’s lightness of touch that is its greatest appeal however. Natural beauty abounds at the cool heights of Bach Ma National Park, Ba Na Hill Station and Hai Van Pass, while China Beach, which runs all the way south from Danang to Hoi An, is fully deserving of its worldwide fame.<\/p>\n

While modern Danang is the region’s main entrepot, Hoi An is the main highlight of the region for many tourists. As well as boasting some of Vietnam’s best-preserved architecture, the ancient town offers tremendous shopping, a lively restaurant scene and some of the country’s most exquisite indigenous cuisine. Its proximity to China Beach and bucolic countryside ideal for exploring via bicycle just adds to its allure.<\/p>\n
