Based in Italy or Spain, the successful candidate is responsible for building client relationships and promoting the services of EXO Travel Group to travel partners including tour operators, travel agents, MICE and Incentive houses, etc. You will be responsible for developing new business partnerships and strengthening existing relationships with partners in Italy, Portugal and Spain, in accordance with an agreed business plan.
You are expected to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through the execution of sales strategies and by maximising the performance and range of existing client’s products. You will also be required to coordinate and support sales and marketing activities within the territory from time to time.

role and responsibilities
Developing strategies along with senior management to expand group sales into new markets and increase business in existing markets including strategic plans to increase business through Tour Operators and Travel Agents networks.
Create annual sales and marketing plan and budget for assigned market.
Manage any other sales agents affiliated or engaged to develop business in your market.
Produce part of the yearly marketing plan and budget for sales activities, in accordance with strategic business plan.
Identifying and contacting new potential agents and tour operators.
Making sales calls to introduce EXO’s services to prospective clients.
Initiate and distribute regular B2B newsletters, press releases and updates on tourism developments in EXO destinations for travel partners.
Initiate marketing activities targeted at the assigned market and coordinate with marketing department to ensure that the market requirements are well represented and by marketing and communication materials.
Creating effective sales and marketing support materials including, but not limited to, PowerPoint sales presentations, sample programs, trade show panels and corporate presentations.
Participate in major travel trade shows around the world to represent EXO, as assigned.
Respond to and follow up new agent enquiries and forward to operations offices with advice.
Liaise and coordinate with reservations and operations teams to ensure that agents are dealt with promptly, professionally and receive the best possible services.
Arrange FAM trips for overseas agents and escort groups.
Initiate programs to encourage staff across the group to improve business, carry out market research and competitor analysis.
Monitor new agents’ performances and bookings.
Maintain and help develop the company’s computerised customer and prospect database.
Generate monthly market and performance reports for monthly management meetings with Head Office.
Provide annual training for Travel Consultants handling your Markets in each of the EXO Destinations (as long as this fits into your agreed and planned annual travel plan)
Graduate/ Post Graduate
Minimum 10 years of experience in Travel with minimum 5years of leading Sales for a large market.
Fluency in Spanish, Italian and English (verbal & written) is a must.
Experience in using some type of Travel software and Database
Understanding of the market trends & comprehensive travel industry knowledge
Understanding customer needs and high customer service standards.
Strong organization and prioritization skills
Excellent interpersonal and good public speaking skills.
Leader with a positive and dynamic personality, able to adapt to different cultures.
