ENGLISH-CHINESE SPEAKING TOUR OPERATOR

Location: Vietnam

Experienced tour operator will be in charge to arrange all services, and work closely with guides, prepare all documents to run the tour and deal directly with clients and the sales department in case of issues.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inquiries and complaints are handled within 24 hours and comply with internal standards 
  • Make sure all documents prepared are accurate that no information is missing and that they are delivered on time
  • Provide on-going support to guide/operation /sales member throughout the trip duration as required
  • Maintain and develop a good partnership and relationship with all kinds of suppliers and solve problems with suppliers if any
  • Assist accounting department with regard to payment matters
  • Keep oneself informed about all tourism-related issues in destinations area
  • Assist with changes to travel arrangements and booking where required
  • Ensure all operations happen in a timely and correct manner
  • Good communication with tour guides to follow up the progress of the tours and resolve problems occurring during tours and notify department manager
  • Understand EXO Responsible Travel policy, Wildlife Code of Conduct, ChildSafe policy and Ethical code
  • Support yearly guide training organization and ensure that responsible tourism will be discussed
  • Ensure implementation and improvement of our most responsible initiatives - such as refillable bottles. 
  • Cooperate with suppliers to inform them about our responsible tourism commitments and requirements. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or other related fields.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese. Other language is a plus. 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Inbound Tourism or Travel Company.

Skills

  • Good computer literacy (MS Office; Travel related software). 
  • Well organized, hardworking, independent working and teamwork skills. 
  • Client-oriented attitude and ability to build strong relationships with guides and suppliers 
  • Responsible and careful.
  • Motivated and willing to learn
  • Ability to work under pressure in peak season periods.
  • Very detail oriented, service minded and execution skills
