Ho Chi Minh City Walking Tour (Half Day)

Buzzing with energy, Ho Chi Minh City is one of Asia’s most invigorating cities. While the swarms of motorbikes that throng the streets can be intimidating, it is actually not all that difficult to explore by foot. Distances between sights are manageable, and the city’s innate verve is best sampled at street level. This breezy half-day journey takes in some of the highlights of the central area, known as District 1. Kicking off at an atmospheric local market, the tour weaves through narrow alleys into some of the friendliest neighbourhoods in the city. Here guests can watch vendors dish out delicious meals from vast stainless steel terrines and enjoy a glass of ca phe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk) while perched on a tiny plastic stool. Other choice inclusions in the adventure include a visit to one of the oldest parts of the city, where colonial villas showcase its proud architectural heritage.
